School Dinners

We are a nut free school

ALL Infant school children are entitled to a FREE meal at lunchtime at school.

However, if you have previously been entitled to Free School Meals or are on any kind of income support, we ask that you continue to register under the Free School Meals scheme as the school will be able to claim additional funding which is used to benefit those children.  Visit our main reception to complete a short registration form.

How does my child choose what to   eat?

All parents/carers are able to order their child’s school meal by using the log in sent by our catering company ‘The Pantry’.

-Log in using your child’s pupil login

-Accept the terms and conditions

-Identify any dietary requirements

-Choose the week you want to pick menus for

-Click on the day and meal your child would like

How will my child get their lunch?

The class teacher or a member of the lunchtime staff will walk the class to lunch in the main hall.

All children have access to water.

What is the school doing to help       keep my child safe at lunchtime?

All children wash their hands before lunch.

All year groups are eating and playing separately.

Individual classes sit together in the hall.

Equipment is split between year groups and children are shown how to use it.

All lunchtime staff wear PPE.

All staff follow social distancing guidelines and encourage children to do so.

What can parents do to help?

Read the menu with your child for the next day so they know what they would like to eat. Remind them in the morning before coming to school.

Talk about the food and how it is healthy for the child.

Can my child have a packed lunch?

We encourage all children to take up the offer of a FREE lunchtime meal provided by the school.

If, however, your child requires a packed lunch it must not include
